Event Production

I have worked as a Content Producer, Event Producer and Event Manager, on numerous events and activities. This includes developing and managing events from concept to delivery, as well as offering specific services as a creative consultant, or during delivery of events, as a host, facilitator or producer. Below are some recent examples.


THE NATURE BAR at COP26

I worked as the Content Producer for the THE NATURE BAR COP26 in Glasgow. This was a collaboration between Voice for Nature and the Natural History Museum, London. The Nature Bar hosted policy makers, environmentalists, scientists, journalists, storytellers, and artists to speak on behalf of Nature during the climate talks. Contributors involved Dr Enric Sala, Professor Ed Hawkins, Dr Sylvia Earl, Chris Packham, Stuart Murdoch (Belle and Sebastian) and a number of indigenous, youth and ‘unheard’ voices from the climate movement.

I helped organise over three days of programming, including panel discussions, film screenings, and evening entertainment. I worked closely with scientists, artists, and speakers to develop and manage the content and worked with the production team at SWG3 to help run delivery of the event over the three days. miller research LAB: youth event at abergavenny food festival

In partnership with Miller Research, I produced the Miller Research LAB, a day of discussions with food experts, targeted at 16-25 year olds, to explore how we move towards a more just, sustainable and regenerative food system. Experts from the Sustainable Food Trust, Food Foundation, Welsh Food Manifesto, North Start Transition were involved, as well as local authorities and producers. It was the first event of its kind at the Abergavenny Food Festival, and hopefully the first of many more, to better engage with and involve the younger generation in the future of food. I curated the programme, managed a small team, marketed and promoted the event, and facilitated the sessions on the day. You can find out more about the event here.
