I am an adaptable and professional communicator - as comfortable carrying out research, report writing and copyediting as I am jumping around on stage dressed as a giant cockroach.

I bring creativity and competency to all work that I do, and aspire to create meaningful and memorable communication and interactions.

I am always on the look out for the next interesting project to be involved in or idea to bring to life. Get in touch if you have a project or idea you would like to discuss - davidurryscicom@gmail.com.

My skills and experience

Background

I have a good understanding of environmental issues and the natural world, from my study at The University of Oxford and work at the Natural History Museum London, the Royal Society of Biology and the Bat Conservation Trust.

I have honed and developed my science communication skills over the last decade and have considerable experience developing content for online, print and broadcast media, as well as live events and performance. I am also an experienced facilitator, host and presenter, in front of a camera or a live audience.

In addition to developing and delivering content, I also have considerable experience managing both small and large-scale projects and events, and regional or national reach.
